SYNOPSIS
AbraCaDabra is a mosaic or a bird’s eye view of lives, lived next to each other. It explores basic human emotions, throwing up similarities in quests and conflicts, and the contrasts in the journeys of resolution.
Mr. Anant Nag plays a man who is trying to make sense of a lived life. He is confronted by questions he hasn’t had the courage to ask himself before.
Ms. Siri Ravikumar plays a young woman coming of age. She finds herself in a quest for identity, while navigating relationships that keep her tied down.
Mr. B.V. Shrunga plays a Magician, who dreams of becoming a grand illusionist, the best that can be. A man possessed and driven by ambition
Mr. Avinash Rai plays a man battling his own complexes. Caught in a place he doesn’t want to be in. His journey goes from meandering the frivolous to finding himself in a mess that he cannot climb out of.
The title of the film does not remain just a magic chant and goes much deeper into the theme of the film, where we deal with quests of realisation, validation, identity and ambition. About the rights and wrongs and everything in between.
ಈ ಚಿತ್ರವು ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಮಾನವನ ಒಳಗಿನ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಘ‍ರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಜೀವನ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಗಾಜಿನ ತುಂಡುಗಳಂತೆ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಂಡು, ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ವೃಧ್ಧ, ಬದುಕಿ ಬಂದ ಜೀವನದ ಪಳೆಯುಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ದುಖಃ ತಪ್ತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಯುವತಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳು ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳ ಗಂಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಇಡಿ ಪ್ರಪಂಚವನ್ನೇ ಎದುರಾಕಿಕೊಂಡ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ, ತಾನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಜಾದೂಗಾರನಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಹಠ ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ತನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗದ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಫ್ಕಿ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ, ಹಣದ ಮರಿಚೀಕೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪುತ್ತಾನೆ.
